Bracket Pro Instructions For Mercury Outboards

1. Loosen kicker motor transom clamps.
2. Remove - through transom bolts
3. Motors 1999 & newer: remove tilt/lock from motor.
4. Motors 1998 & older: with ratcheting style tilt/lock. No removal necessary.
5. Slide the mounting plate between the transom and the motor clamps with the tube support ears, located in the center of the mounting plate, in the up or down position. Depending on how high you want the kicker motor supported. (see figure 1)
6. Center mounting plate (see figure 1)
7. Reinstall original transom bolts.
8. Tighten motor clamps and transom bolts.
9. Remove coated tether & run between the round swivel tube (see figure 2)
10. Use one of the eight holes in the support arm.
11. Reattach coated tether
12. The support arm should rest on the round swivel tube. (see figure 3)
13. Bracket Arm - must clear leg of motor. (see figure 4)
14. Strap the motor down & enjoy your new Bracket Pro Support Bracket! (see figure 5)
