Bracket Pro Instructions For Non-Mercury Outboards

1. Remove tilt/lock lever if more height adjustment is required.
2. Mount the transom mounting plate 2" on center of top mounting holes - measuring from the bottom of motor clamps with the tube support ears, located in the center of mounting plate, in the down position. Towards the bottom of the transom. (see figure 1)
3. Center mounting plate and attach to transom. DO NOT try to use O.E.M. mounting holes. Use of all four mounting holes recommended. (see figure 1)
4. Extend support arm to desired motor height.
5. Run coated tether between the round swivel tube and leg. (see figure 1)
6. Adjust coated tether.
7. Support tube must swing free - up and down. (see figure 1)
8. The support arm should rest on the swivel tube. (see figure 2)
9. Strap motor down. (see figure 3)
